An Adults Idea

I belong to this club that is called the single’s club. It is actually an adult dating club, where you have to be over the age of 21 to be in it. The requirements are over 21, divorced, or a mom or dad with kids and not married. You can not have a boyfriend or girlfriend living with you and cannot be dating.

I am looking forward to going to my first meeting this Saturday night. I asked how it got to be called adult dating, and found out all the requirements to be in the club.

I remember back when I first started dating, I thought I knew it all and I was an adult dating these gentlemen. I remember my first date very well, and we acted like two old people. We never held hands the whole night, nor did we embrace each other. My first date was almost like you were being chaperoned with your parents. I will admit I did have fun. I think we went to the show and then out to eat and then he brought me home.

Now I am the adult dating and am looking forward to it quite a bit. I was writing a few things of what I was looking for in a gentleman, and made sure I put it in my purse. I am really excited, and it reminds me of watching the Dating Game Show.

I finally reach the building where we were supposed to meet and it was just amazing to see all the males there. As they introduced themselves and said a little bit about themselves, I would see women jotting down little notes. It reminded me watching the American Idol show and the judges were handing out their comments.

After the males got done with asking questions, it was now the females turn. Some of the questions that were asked was like how old are you, what did you do for a living, are you still living with your parents, and do you have any kids?

I was so amazed at this one guy, that I was hoping him and I would hit it off right away. As we got to know each other, and we all were talking to everyone, I could talk a little bit easier, instead of acting like I was scared. I kept looking at the clock and finally the meeting was over.

Well not all was lost, because this adult dating was getting really interesting, because the one I was interested in asked me out just before going out the door. What a night it turned out to be.
