An Adults Idea

After dating women for so many years, Hector has never experienced a real love relationship. He is the kind of guy who would love to just spend every weekend dating women than go out for a romantic dinner with a steady girlfriend.

There are lots of men nowadays who would not take relationships to the next level until they are sure that this is the woman that they wanted to be with for the rest of their lives. Come to think of it...if all men are like Hector, lots of women will end up as old maids.

Hector is an intelligent guy with a very good and decent family background. He grew up in a rural area where his family is well known family of politicians. His father served as mayor for three consecutive terms as well as her mother. He is now being groomed as the future mayor of their province.

Dating women now is just like a break for Hector every weekend. It is now his way of unwinding from his busy schedule as a young lawyer. In the midst of his career as a young lawyer, Hector started to get drawn to his secretary Mia. Mia is a beautiful girl who also came from a very respected family of businessman. She is highly educated as well like Hector.

Two weeks ago, I and Hector and two of our closest friends in school, Terry and Che, had a lunch together in our favorite hang out. It was my idea to invite them out because we haven't been seeing each other for the last four months.

Among the four of us, Hector was the only one who seemed to be lacking energy that day. He was handsome though but looked so exhausted and drained. I asked him what's wrong. He said he thinks he is in love with Mia and he does not know what to do.

All three of us girls bursted into laughter. Hector was so embarrassed. "What's funny?", he asked. "At last, after more than a decade of dating women, love has finally touched your heart Hector. You are now a graduate of the dating stage!", Terry teasingly said.

The rest of our lunch date with Hector was like a lecture meeting with him. It was funny how we caress and hug him like a little brother while giving him tips on how to propose to Mia.

By the way, Terry, Che and I are just three among dozens of women that Hector had dated in the past. Our friendship with Hector though will remain for lifetime.
