An Adults Idea

Through out my life I have had several love affairs that were beautiful and that gave me great joy at least for a time. Each of these wonderful love affairs ended and then I would move on to the next one, never really caring or looking back on the lost loves that I was leaving behind. I have always been one to look to the future and now I find myself at the age of 50 alone and without anyone by my side to accompany me through the last chapter of my life. Now an old man I have begun to look back like never before and I wonder why I didn't hole on to any of the women that came into my life. There have been so many of them and they were all wonderful and attentive. Some were beautiful and sweet, others were cute and perky and some were just perfect and yet I was nevertemptedto ask any one of them to stay in my life and be my partner.

Now I feel like a foolish old man, I have let the best years of my life pass me by and now I am here sitting alone and having to join dating websites in search of a woman that will stay with me. Being of an older time for me these dating websites are not an easy thing to master. To tell you the truth the make me feel like an old relic. It is such a strange way of meeting people, you can not see a person or touch them over the computer screen and I don't know if my old charm will translate this way as it did when I was younger. I just never imagined I would end up on a computer and in dating websites when I got old. I should be off in Florida relaxing next to my mate on a sunny beach and no where near a computer.

Oh well the facts are that I am in front of a computer and that I joined two dating websites and now I will begin to look for some attractive women my age. I'll sit here as long as I have to in order to find the right woman for me and this time I will not let her get away. I have loved and lived and also learned a lesson from my past life and now I will be a different man.
